Affordability and sustainability. Together at last.

Reducing carbon emissions doesn’t have to come at a cost. Renewable natural gas (RNG) is an affordable fuel that is cleaner than diesel and a fraction of the price. But we know that fuel price alone isn’t enough for fleets to make the switch, the total cost of ownership needs to make sense too. Heavy-duty trucks equipped with the Cummins X15N engine can achieve payback in 2.5–3 years, making RNG a practical solution fleets can truly put on the road today.

Powerful

The X15N is a 15-liter big bore natural gas powertrain designed for long-haul applications, with power ratings up to 500hp, torque up to 1850 lb-ft, and a 750+ mile range.

Sustainable

RNG dramatically reduces carbon emissions versus diesel, reducing both the Scope 1 emissions of the carrier and the Scope 3 emissions of the shipper.

Freightliner, Kenworth, & Peterbilt

The X15N is available in the 5th-generation Freightliner Cascadia, the Kenworth T680 and T880 models, and the Peterbilt 579, 567, and 520 models.

Affordable

RNG is a domestically produced, stable-priced fuel that costs significantly less than diesel. Grant funding and incentives may also be available to help make the switch.

Refueling Infrastructure

A robust network of natural gas fueling stations already exists nationwide. Of our 600+ Clean Energy stations, over 100 are tractor-trailer friendly and open to the public.

Convenient

Fueling at an RNG station is easy, safe, and fast. It’s very similar to diesel, in terms of both fueling speed and process.
